Jeff Butisbauch’s ceramic vases transform art pottery into functional beauty.
From his pottery studio in Edmonds, Washington, he molds, trims, fires and glazes his contemporary ceramics. Each of his hand painted pottery pieces are signed on the bottom. Requiring roughly three weeks from start to finish and four hours of hands-on time, these hand painted ceramics are crafted with care.
Utilizing a technique called slip casting, Jeff creates original pieces and then casts reproductions of them. These are his moldable, paintable canvas.
